Shipping Protection Terms

An optional add-on that replaces a shipment, not an insurance policy — version 1.0, effective August 2026.

Shipping Protection is an optional paid add-on offered by Puptidez at checkout. Where it is added to an order and paid for, Puptidez agrees to send a replacement shipment of that order in the circumstances set out below. These Terms apply in addition to the Individual Purchaser Terms & Conditions and the Shipping & Restrictions policy, and are accepted at checkout by any Purchaser whose order includes the add-on.

Shipping Protection is a service commitment by Puptidez to reship its own goods. It is not insurance, it is not underwritten by a third party, and it does not indemnify the Purchaser against loss. Puptidez is not an insurer and does not hold itself out as one.

1. What the add-on provides

Where Shipping Protection was purchased with an order and a request is made and approved under these Terms, Puptidez will ship the same order again, at Puptidez's expense, to the address on the original order.

The remedy is a replacement shipment and nothing else. In particular:

2. What it applies to

A replacement may be requested where, after the carrier has confirmed delivery or has recorded the shipment as lost:

3. What it does not apply to

4. Orders placed without the add-on

Not buying Shipping Protection does not remove the remedy Puptidez already publishes for its own mistakes. The fulfilment-accuracy remedy in the Shipping & Restrictions policy — a broken vial, a lot number that does not match its certificate, or contents that do not match the order, reported with photographs within 7 days of delivery — applies to every order, protected or not, and is not charged for.

What Shipping Protection adds is cover for the carrier's failures rather than Puptidez's: a parcel that was lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, which is otherwise the Purchaser's risk once Puptidez has tendered it to the carrier under Section 9 of the Individual Purchaser Terms. It also replaces rather than repairs, and it does so on a faster window.

5. The request window

A request must be submitted within the window shown at checkout and on the order page — at least 24 hours, measured from the moment the carrier confirms delivery. Where the carrier records a parcel as lost rather than delivered, the window runs from that carrier record instead.

The window is short because the evidence it depends on is perishable: a photograph of a damaged parcel taken the same day proves something that the same photograph taken a fortnight later does not. If the window has closed, contact us anyway. It is the published window, not a refusal to talk, and it does not limit any right the Purchaser has that cannot lawfully be waived.

6. What a request must contain

All of the following are required, and a request missing any of them cannot be assessed:

Puptidez may ask for further information, and may decline a request where the information given cannot be reconciled with the order or the carrier's record. A request made in bad faith, or a pattern of requests inconsistent with carrier loss rates, may result in the withdrawal of the add-on, account termination, or both.

7. Approval and dispatch

Puptidez will respond to a request within two business days. Where a request is approved, Puptidez sends a prepaid return mailer for any damaged goods, where their return is required, and dispatches the replacement shipment. Where a request is declined, the reason is given in writing.

8. Card disputes

Nothing in these Terms limits any right the Purchaser has under applicable consumer-protection law or under the rules of the card network used to pay. Puptidez cannot and does not purport to prevent, refuse, or waive a cardholder's right to dispute a charge with their issuing bank.

Puptidez does ask to be contacted first. A replacement can usually be dispatched in less time than a dispute takes to open, and where a dispute is raised Puptidez will provide the issuing bank with the order record, the accepted document versions, the carrier record, and any correspondence.

9. Price of the add-on

The fee is a flat amount set by the merchandise subtotal of the order, shown in full at checkout before payment and itemised on the order summary and the receipt. It is calculated by the Company's servers, not by the browser, and the amount shown at checkout is the amount charged.

Where an order is cancelled before dispatch, the protection fee is returned with the rest of the order. Where an order has been dispatched, the fee has been earned.

10. Research-use status is unaffected

Shipping Protection concerns the delivery of a parcel and nothing else. It makes no representation about any product's suitability, safety, purity beyond the stated certificate, or fitness for any purpose, and it does not alter the research-use-only basis on which every product is sold. Products remain not for human or animal consumption and are not approved by the FDA to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

11. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by Florida law and are subject to the dispute-resolution provisions of the Individual Purchaser Terms & Conditions. Puptidez may amend them prospectively by publishing an updated version and effective date; an order is governed by the version accepted when it was placed.
